SynerGIS Informationssysteme was founded in 1973 in Vienna as a privately held IT- company. We have been the ESRI distributor for Austria since 1987 and for the Slovak Republic since 1993.

Based on ESRI’s leading GIS technology we started in 1992 to develop generic GIS solutions for specific market-segments such as the municipalities in Austria. Over the years we extended our highly configurable ArcGIS-based application framework with industry-specific desktop, server, and mobile solutions.

The main challenge today is integration of geographical information and functionality within a company’s process framework. This requires handling objects, their lifecycle and all sorts of different related documents within (sometimes multiple) electronic document management systems. Our product portfolio is reflecting this challenge in all parts:

SynerGIS WebOffice is a Web-based information system platform for integrating other IT enterprise systems based on locational awareness. SynerGIS WebOffice is built upon ESRI ArcGIS Server technology and brings the power of the desktop onto the Web. At the same time, WebOffice User interfaces are as easy to use as web-clients need to be. SynerGIS WebOffice is currently empowering approximately 250 customer server installations. Existing integrations including SAP, different eDMS (EMC Documentum, DOXiS), GEONIS server and other arbitrary customer databases are proof of the power of this solution.

SynerGIS GeoOffice is the desktop application that enhances the ArcGIS desktop functionality with user friendly, workflow-oriented functionality for land management, urban planning, and infrastructure management. It also provides enhanced plotting and powerful dimensioning capabilities. SynerGIS GeoOffice is in use at more than 2,000 customer-sites.

SynerGIS ePaper is a superior solution for intelligent reporting. Define and create combined reports including maps, images and arbitrary data at your Desktop or via a WebOffice client.
